Dolphin Swimming Academy is a family run swim school run by husband and wife team Richard and Charlotte Green, with the support of an amazing team of swimming instructors and lifeguards.
Since the arrival of our daughter in August 2013 and later our little boy in October 2019, we have spent more time than ever swimming together as a family in our free time and holidays. As parents ourselves we understand the importance of children learning to swim and having fun in the water as well as making sure the children are always safe.
We provide swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities; our class sizes are small, with a maximum of 6 children in each class. Our aim is not only to teach children to swim but also for them to enjoy their lessons and have fun.
We teach according to the Swimming Teachers Association International Learn To Swim Program. The STA offer many additional awards to swimmers as they move through the levels, as well as a certificate and badge at each level we will also be awarding distance badges, along with personal survival skills, diving skills and advanced water safety incorporating bronze, silver and gold awards. All of these new awards will be incorporated into our regular weekly lessons.
We are also a recognised Swim Star Swim School – this means that we have been recognised by the STA for maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, business procedures, teaching and customer service.
